Hiking to Calanque Du Port d'Alon
Does anyone fancy having a morning walk along the rugged coast between Bandol and Saint Cyr sur Mer? Exploring the coastal path leading to the calanque du Port d'Alon will offer us several viewpoints, from which we can admire limestone formations, cliffs made of conglomerate and hidden bays and coves, that in the past allowed smugglers to sneak in unnoticed. Nowadays, the path is well maintained and can be freely treaded by hikers, swimmers and fishermen, so let's seize the chance to explore this part of the Var region while enjoying the lush vegetation made of Aleppo pines, oaks and agaves.
