Meeting point: Linz main railway station on the right platform Protected content the train RJ Protected content Salzburg, leaving Linz at 8:30 a.m.

Bring your swimming gear - see above!! Buy a valid train ticket!!! Bring enough water!!!

Hello Internations members and friends,

let us organize a perfect day in the beuatiful Salzkammergut.

We will go by train to Lauffen (near Bad Ischl). Going by train from Linz to Attnang-Puchheim with RJ Protected content change train there to R Protected content continue to Lauffen.

We hike from Lauffen Protected content to Katrin Hut ( Protected content ) on the Katrin. There we can take a rest and try some austrian cuisine.

Then we can decide if we continue the hike downhill to Bad Ischl or we protect our knees and take the cable car.

For the hike up and down (without cable car) we will need Protected content .

If we like we can stroll through Bad Ischl (nice small town) or we take the train back to Linz from the station in Bad Ischl.

Depends on the time and the mood we could stop in Traunkirchen and go swimming in the Traunsee.

Please organize your train ticket by yourself!!!!
If you want go by car, we will arrive at Lauffen station at 10:17 a.m.
