¡La Noche de los Museos!
This evening is all about sneaking into some difficult-to-access collections and seeing fabulous architecture, while avoiding some of the notorious event crowds. We will have time for a quick pizza pit-stop too!
We will meet at Museo Etnográfico "Juan B. Ambrosetti," the infrequently-open museum of UBA´s Anthropology department, featuring the current exhibits: De la Puna al Chaco, Una historia precolombina; Desafiando al silencio, Pueblos indígenas y dictadura; En busca de las colecciones científicas; Danzantes de la luz; En el confín del mundo.
Before 9pm we´ll be on our way to check out the ornate Club Español with its "joyas del palacio y de la institución hispana más antigua del país," and the illustrious Casa Fernández Blanco before grabbing pizza along Corrientes.
We´ll arrive at gorgeous Pinacoteca del Ministerio de Educación de Nación in time to see the midnight media projection over its facade, and still have time for the 1am tour of my personal favorite, Museo del Agua y de la Historia Sanitaria – AySA.
