Unmissable docufilm about Lina, a lovable "Wonderwoman" I met many time at the "farmers" vegetable market, in Porta Palazzo.
"A masterpiece" Roberto Saviano.

Lina is 70 years old and has always been a farmer. Her's back is curved and turned towards the ground.
Every morning, in the dark, she leaves from San Mauro, the "strawberry town", to arrive in the largest open-air market in Europe: Porta Palazzo, where she sells her fruit, vegetables ... and her strawberries. Lina's life, as she says, is "home, church and work": she has no children, but five dogs and a husband who pushes her, unheeded, to stop working. But one day Hassan enters the market, as a young Moroccan immigrant looking for work ...
"El lugar de las fresas" is the story of Lina and Hassan told by the gaze of a young Spanish filmmaker, in a common and universal place, as a large open-air market. But above all, it is a poetic film, which shows the public the most essential and pure value of the human being through the work of the earth.
