Where is the friend's house by A.Kiarostami Pre-view+Zoom debate

Can you make a 1h23m film just to return a notebook? If you have the genius and talent of Kiarostami, the answer is yes! And the result is yet another Masterpiece!
Back home, the little Ahmed finds the notebook of his schoolmate Mohamed in his satchel. To prevent Mohamed from being expelled from school for not doing his homework, Ahmed has to search for him , but he doesn't know where his friend lives. He then sets off in search of him, but encounters many difficulties. A very delicate look at the world of children, a patriarchal world deaf to their small needs, charmingly set in the rural villages of Koker and Postheh.
The British Film Institute has included the film among the 50 films to see before the age of 14.
The film is inspired by a poem by Sohrab Sepehri entitled Where is the Friend's home and in particular by the following lines: "You will go to the end of the path / To the point where adolescence will emerge / Then you will turn towards the flower of solitude./ Close from that flower you will stop / At the foot of the fountain from which the myths of the earth gush out. / Then you will ask him: / Where is the Friend's home? "
