Wer hat eigentlich die Liebe erfunden? (2018)

Charlotte and Paul have been married for 37 years. Paul draws back, Charlotte feels that their feelings have been exhausted, she fell into confusion and pain. Because of the unexpected death of their beloved cat, their delicate granddaughter Yu is depressed all day. At Yu's birthday party, Charlotte suggested a family trip to an island for relaxation. The move was strongly opposed by Paul and his daughter Alex. But Charlotte and Yu, regardless of their objections, secretly drove to the island with the dead cat. All of this in this family is seen by "God". At the hotel on the island, Charlotte and Yu meet the identity of the hotel owner "God".

The film's original German title literally translates as "Who Invented Love? "This is the first feature film from director Kirsten Bordt. The film adds the surreal character of "God", and explores the essential meaning of life, family and love from different perspectives of God and man in a comedic way. The film won the Best Young Director Award at the Bavaria Film Festival in Germany.
