Scots in Qatar Burns Night Supper
The first of the two great events in the Scottish social calendar, Burns Night Dinner Dance promises you an evening of culture and fun. It is a celebration of the life and works of Scottish national poet, Robert Burns (aka Robbie Burns or Rabbie Burns), Auld Lang Syne being the one that most people are familiar with. Well, it is a good enough reason to have another great Scottish party lol.
The evening kicks off with champagne reception, followed by three-course dinner (including the famous haggis), ceilidh dancing, disco dancing and eventually a taxi home if you live with Doha city. There will of course be whiskies and all alcoholic drinks are free flowing all night. You will experience Scottish tradition for the night including Piping of the Haggis, Address to the Haggis ( a Robbie Burns poem ), Address to the Lasses, and Toast to the Laddies. There will, of course, be plenty of twirling and swirling to the pipes throughout the night. Ladies, bring your dancing shoes :).
The ticket price is QR Protected content person (including champagne reception, 3-course dinner, alcoholic drinks all night, dancing and taxi home within Doha).
Dress code is Highland or Black Tie, no denim please. You must bring your QID/passport on the night to gain entry.
