Scots in Qatar Burns Night Supper
One of my favourite events of the year, Burns Night Dinner Dance promises you an evening of culture and fun. It is a celebration of the life and works of Scottish national poet, Robert Burns, Auld Lang Syne being the one that most people are familiar with.
The evening kicks off with champagne reception, followed by three-course dinner (including the famous haggis), ceilidh dancing, disco dancing and eventually a taxi home if you live with Doha city. There will of course be whiskies and alcoholic drinks are free flowing all night. You will experience Scottish tradition for the night including Piping of the Haggis, Address to the Haggis ( the Immortal Memory, Toast to the Lasses, and Response from the Lasses. There will, of course, be plenty of twirling and swirling to the pipes throughout the night. Ladies, bring your dancing shoes :).
