Walk, Boat and Lunch in the Danube bend

This time - on Whit Sunday - we leave Bp. and visit two jewels – Zebegény and Nagymaros – on the other side of the Danube bend.

Programme:
1.)TRAIN to ZEBEGÉNY Protected content , 2-km WALK there, incl. home-made strudels
2.)BOAT from Zebegény to NAGYMAROS (at 12:50, arr. at 13:45);
3.)LUNCH in Restaurant Maros at 13:45
4.)Relax and sunbathing on the banks of the Danube with stunning view to Visegrád (take a light blanket and sunscreen, perhaps bathing suit)
5.)WALK in Nagymaros, incl. ice cream
6.)TRAIN to Budapest

As to LUNCH:
Place: Maros Restaurant ( Protected content ) – located directly at the Danube bank; Menu: a la carte; Payment: cash or bank card; Essential:
The restaurant is good and very requested, it is always full on weekends, so advance reservation is definitely needed and for the EXACT number of ppl. No-shows are not welcome! So pls, if you sign up for the walk and do not want to attend lunch, as well, inform me in a private message. (FYI: Nagymaros is a small place, there are no other suitable restaurants.)

As to the DANUBE BEND DAILY TICKET (in HU: Dunakanyar napijegy):
The ticket is valid for unlimited travel in the Danube Bend incl. train from and to Bp. and boat trip.
You can buy it at the cashier or from the vending machine.
Choose the above option and 5 June. (You will NOT need to indicate anything else, like towns, train/boat departures).

As to WEATHER:
Only in good weather (light rain is no problem).
