2 in 1 - Best of Recent Hikes

Recently we made two hikes on different days, which we liked a lot: Remete George and Solymár. Now I need to check them both on the same day, at different pace and for a different reason. If you missed it, or just would like to make it again in autumn, you are kindly invited to join me.

The two hikes:
1.)Varied route leading through forest landscapes with charming valleys, steep rock walls, caves, nice viewpoints in REMETE SZURDOK (gorge), and calm streets with nice houses in the second district, and a pilgrimage site for centuries in Máriaremete, mainly famous for its neo-Gothic Church. 2.)An easy, really beautiful, charming, wide, varied hiking trail near Bp, including a nice walk along Paprikás Brook in Jegenye Valley with a waterfall, sandstone walls and the renovated medieval Solymár Castle ruins offering a fantastic panoramic view of the surrounding Buda Hills; Distance: 5,6 km; Ascent: 90 m More in HU:

After the 1st hike we will take two buses (7 and 10 mins) to Solymár, where our 2nd tour takes place.

Please bring sandwiches, 1,5 l water and - if you have – hiking poles and wear hiking boots

Only in good weather. If it is rainy on Saturday, the hike will be postponed to Sunday.
