Before finding its final consecration on screen, the film image is created in the trait of some artists who have the task of anticipating on paper the ideas and the visual approach of the director of a film. To celebrate this fundamental part of filmmaking, Casa del Cinema host from 19 September to 29 October a thematic exhibition titled STORYBOARD - The cinema frame by frame. The exhibition trail, curated by Storyboard Artist David Orlandelli, was born from the collaboration of some of the most renowned filmmakers like Davide De Cubellis, Daniele Dickmann, Cristiano Donzelli, Marco Valerio Gallo, Marco Letizia and Orlandelli himself. significant tables they made for the latest tv and cinema in Italy.

Storyboard exhibition will offer the visitor the opportunity to see, among other things, storyboards made for Habemus Papam, Diaz - Do not Clean Up This Blood, The Racconti Tale, Called Jeeg Robot, N Napoleon), Steel, The Chair of Happiness, I'm Going Back, Mister Happiness, The First Beautiful and Rocco Schiavone.

Storyboard is a journey into movie previewing to find out how the director's ideas are made on paper. Through the path between the tables you will have the opportunity to understand the process of setting up a set of movie sequences, to know in detail what is happening before and after shooting, such as the preparation of sequences for Computer Graphics. A fascinating and precious journey that opens a window on the storyboard tool, its uses and the techniques used for its realization. Through sketches, frames and photos, the creative and realization phase, from script to sequence development, will be described, imagining to manage a small paper troupe. Because behind every drawing image there is the effort to 'see with the camera'.
