As the title suggests, referring to Kinoshita Carmen's film back home, it is the story of one of the many returns in the places of origin of Japanese young people who are trying the road to success in the capital.
The screenplay is depicted with engaging humor and on the background of punk-rock melodies, without neglecting universal and dynamic family feelings that are rediscovered similar to every latitude.

Audience Award Protected content Prize) at Far East Film Festival, "Mohican Comes Home" (Mohican Kokyo ni Kaeru) recalls the title - and in reference to the phenomenon of young people who move from Tokyo to the most peripheral and conservative areas of the archipelago to Tokyo of luck - Keisuke Kinoshita Carmen's famous film returns home (Karumen Kokyo ni Kaeru, Protected content , the first full-length feature film in Japanese movie history.
The protagonist this time is Eikichi, a young man who leaves his township in Hiroshima Prefecture to seek success in the capital as a rock singer. In his seven years, however, his band fails to assert themselves, and the boy - who of that experience retains a skinned attitude and haired hair - decides to return home, bringing with her the girlfriend, Yuka, played by the popular actress Maeda Atsuko, who has already applauded the singer of the idol group AKB48 and today among the youngest performers loved by the Japanese audience.

The first of its kind, the Protected content was inaugurated in Protected content from Protected content has been managed by the Japan Foundation to promote Japanese Culture through a variety of programs and activities and create a link between Italy and Japan.
The institute represents traditional Japanese architecture and is made to look like the house of an aristocratic family from the Heian period. The interior features an auditorium, library, several classrooms, a meeting room, library and a gallery space; many of which are sectioned off by the sliding rice paper doors found in traditional Japanese homes. A beautiful traditional garden surrounds the institute and boasts the only Japanese cherry trees in Rome. Tours of the garden are available in the spring and fall by phone request (T. 06.9484. The institute offers a wide range of unique programs including weekly language classes, culture classes, concerts, exhibitions, Japanese film screenings (with Italian subtitles) and free cultural activities such washi (Japanese paper) demonstrations, and an event called “shaberiamo,” that offers language students (at any level) the opportunity to chat with Japanese speakers.
