The Thonburi side of the river offers visitors many fascinating and interesting places to see. Less developed than the more visited areas of Bangkok, the Khlong San area is a relaxing area in which to stroll. We will visit the Portuguese area, including the small Portuguese museum, a market that mainly sells antique religious medallions, Guan Yu Shrine, the lovely park which holds the birth place of the current King's grandmother, Lhong Protected content the the eight story pagoda in the Chee Chin Khor Moral Uplifting Society temple, where we can climb to the top for a magnificent view of Bangkok.

The walk will end at Khlong San BTS, where we can take the new BTS train to Khrung Thon Buri BTS station on the Silom line. This train ride itself is worth the view.
