Hua Takhe Art Market Walk
Well worth a visit to see how modernity blends in with Old Bangkok. Hua Takhe is constructed of wooden buildings that have survived over Protected content . As well as the market, we will visit Ha Heng Tua Shrine, as well as Baan Sarm Khru art shop, owned by three Art college lecturers, tucked away in the market where walls are covered with art mostly made by students.
Since the market does not sell fresh food, it does not have the bustle of other markets, although there are many great cafes overlooking the canal for coffee and meals.
The walk from the station is scenic, with narrow paths winding through old residential areas with wooden buildings. Because Hua Takhe is on the outskirts of Bangkok, pathways wind their way through natural gardens in full bloom.
