Ayutthaya Cycling - by Train

Ladies will only be admitted to religious monuments if they are appropriately dressed. This includes a cover for their shoulders and a long dress. Bring a passport or other ID since train tickets need a passport to be purchased.
Arrive at Bang Sue MRT, exit 2, before 8:25 am as we need to purchase tickets and catch a train and will not wait for late guests.
Ayutthaya, just over an hour by train from Bangkok, is a fascinating place to visit and cycle. Ayutthaya has safe roads with dedicated cycle lanes, there are many ancient monuments to see in the central Historical Park. After leaving the train station, we cross to the main island by ferry and rent bikes. We shall visit Wat Maha That, the temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Lokayasutharam), and many other interesting monuments in Ayutthaya.
We shall stop for lunch at Ayutthaya before returning to Bangkok on the 15:20 train.
