Premium path : The Schluchsee lake *****
Required minimum of attendees by May 22nd : 5 (paid)
Close your eyes, imagine a small city with a small train station along a beautiful lake...
I offer you the opportunity to have one of the most beautiful hiking of Germany, (listed in Protected content public vote by the german Hiking Magazine) together a easy hiking or an easy round tour by e-bike (to rent at Schluchsee) the following morning along the Schluchsee lake.
Premium hiking with magnificent views of Lake Schluchsee and idyllic, narrow paths surrounded by the beautiful Black Forest scenery.
Currently, the Jägersteig is expected to be blocked until the end of April due to storm damage.
Our trail leads on the old "Jägerpfad" up to Ahaberg. It continues on the historic "Grenzweg" to Bildstein. There expect a geological for the Southern Black rarity - and a unique view: on a clear day, the view across the lake to the 3,614 m high Tödi in the Swiss Alps. After the descent we return from Aha Schluchsee along the shore. It may be that two worlds collide here: Only lonely paths in the woods and then the heavy foot traffic Seeuferweg. But this can also find solitude: Early in the morning, when the sun rises over the lake, when the lake unfolds a magic all its own.
Accomodation has to be booked before May 15th.
Budget/pers. for a flat with separated rooms about EUR 30/pers.
Access by train for the low cost of EUR 9,- by group of five persons (both ways if only on saturday or one way if return trip on sunday evening).
If you are in, please let a comment with your wish (one or two days).
To make the event possible and sure, prepayment of EUR 12 for the train + EUR 30 for the accomodation. Payment instructions will be given accordingly then.
Train leaves Kehl at 8:04 am and arrives at 10:51 at Schluchsee (via Freiburg) by bus
Ideally, another train leaving at 6:34 and arriving at 9:21 by bus would give us more time to enjoy this 1st day with swimming or rest on the shore in the afternoon...
