Come visit Old Town Coppell. George Coffee + Provisions sits on the square in Old Town Coppell. Although tucked behind office buildings and warehouses, you feel like you’re in a seaside New England town.
Owners Laura and Christian Hemberger opened George in July, The Hembergers' philosophy is quality, not quantity. “We want to offer things that can be shared,” Christian says. Many ingredients are purchased across the street at the Coppell Farmers Market. Starting at 11 a.m., you can order one of five boards — burrata ($14), charcuterie ($12), meat and cheese ($12), Mediterranean ($13), and fruit and cheese ($13).

George has a porch out front and patio with picnic tables to the side. It looks more farmhouse than coffee shop. It is equally modern and cozy with communal tables, high-tops, booths, leather chairs and overstuffed couches which makes it an appealing place to sit and stay awhile.
