Historical Walk by Night @ Rome Center
From Piazza S. Silvestro to Piazza del Popolo bypassing the "trident" with Giuseppe 🤓
We will focus on the internal streets rich in history and prestige.
- via Condotti, - not just fashion - with the hospice of the Castilian Trinitarians, the SS Trinità of the Spaniards (little-known baroque masterpiece) with adjoining convent, Palazzo Della Porta - Negroni - Cappellolli probably the first "worldly" people of the city, the Palace of the Order of Malta, Palazzo Maruscelli Lepri and, of course, the historic and prestigious Caffè Greco;
- via Bocca di Leone with the ancient Hotel d'England (the first luxury hotel in the capital), Palazzo Nunez Torlonia and Palazzo Cardelli, a family that at the time owned an entire block;
- via Borgognona – the road where the point is indicated where the Tiber caused the most serious flood in history in Protected content which led the government to build the walls (first signatory was Sen. Giuseppe Garibaldi);
- Via della Croce with the historic and wonderful Talamoni and Poniatoskwy palaces;
- via Margutta - the queen of the "fascinating and evocative" streets, the street of art next to the most important via del corso and via del Babuino
