Still photography is allowed without flash. No videography and no silly poses in front of the artwork, though. That last point was emphasized to me by the person at the reception desk. She flashed a double peace sign and made a goofy expression to illustrate her point. I wish I could have got that on film. :-)
There is a place to check your bags, backpacks, and personal items just inside the main entrance.
There are two main halls and 29 galleries on three floors. There is a lot to see in one day. We can spend a couple of hours touring the halls and galleries together and then people can explore independently if they want. After we're finished, there are some good restaurants in Intramuros a short walk from the museum if anyone is interested. We can discuss a plan before we leave the snack bar.
There are lavatories on every floor but it might be a good idea to bring your own tissue.
