Spring is approaching and we will have a super sunny Sunday with great views (at least that's what I ordered). This will be a full day event and we will discover one of the hidden gems of Swiss pristine nature.

Please only sign up if you have a good fitness level and you are committed to joining (regardless of the weather).

This is one of the most picturesque hikes in Graubünden. We will start in Thusis and walk through amazing forests with stunning views and over a scary hanging bridge. Once we reach the Via Mala ravine, we will descent into it and you will have the chance to take some amazing pictures, especially if the sun hits the turquoise waters.

Our lunch break will be either in the snack bar at the Via Mala ravine or at an isolated spot alongside the river, depending on the weather conditions. From there we will meander through the valley and eventually reach Andeer, where we will enjoy a good 2,5 hours in the Spa.

This is a moderate to hard hike, since we do a total of 900m elevation gain and hike at a swift pace without any major breaks except lunch. If you have any doubts about your fitness level, don't join.

Note: You can benefit from a companion ticket at 38 CHF providing you are travelling with another person (with GA or Half price card & ticket) at all times. For further details consult SBB. To benefit from this you need to team up in pairs with a reliable person (good luck with that).

To facilitate this process and to ensure that the itinerary is identical please only sign up for this hike if you intend to join for the full program (including SPA). Since we are going back by bus I need to make a seat reservation for the bus (you still need to have a valid ticket). Therefore, please update your RSVP by latest Wednesday in case the return is too late for you.
