Join us for another Movie Night in Spanish (with English subtitles). This time we are presenting The Bride (La Novia), a Protected content from Spain. This film, directed by Paula Ortiz; is based on Protected content Wedding (Bodas de Sangre) tragedy by Federico García Lorca. Nominated to 12 Goya Awards and winner of best cinematography and best supporting actress.

As the Bride and the Groom prepare for the wedding in the pale desert, a tale of unappeased desires; forbidden yearnings, and conflicted choices unfolds. Now, three lovers stand powerless before the true nature of man. Is fate unavoidable?
