Hey Gang,

This is probably going to be a "Farewell to the Sun Beach Potluck Brunch Party" as a Summer Brunch and Volleyball party.

So what better way, than doing a day at the Beach which will probably include some combination of Volleyball, frisbee, human pyramids, and music.

Because its a potluck, each individaul person needs to contribute some food/drink item (so if you are a couple, or a family, that means each person needs to contribute). A rule of thumber is to budget $10-$15.

Historically we have always averaged between Protected content plan accordingly.

1pm - 7:30pm - Relax at Protected content

We will have a Volleyball Court setup as well as Frisbees and other stuff.

7:00pm - Pack up (Everyone helps clean please...LEAVE NO TRACE)

7:30 pm - Head out

Some combination of the following FREE activities:
Enjoy Jamaica Beach
Sand Court Volleyball
Ultimate Frisbee
Swimming Pools
Mini-golf
Shuffleboard
Billiards
Ping pong

What to Bring
The following are some suggested items that might be helpful and make your trip more enjoyable:
Water / snacks
Sunscreen
Folding Chairs
Water shoes/old athletic shoes (Closed toe are most preferrable) to protect your feet from sharp shells
Clothing: Quick-drying, water resistant throughout the year; Layers in the winter with water resistant on the outside; Towels and an extra set of clothing for the ride home -- you will most likely get a little wet even on calmer days and possibly very wet on rougher days.
Hat and sunglasses

We will do a sort of a potluck brunch so if you can sign up to bring something let me know:

See the post below for a list of what people are bringing for the potluck which will be updated regularly.

In case you decide to come, just a reminder to make sure that when you get to the resort, DO NOT go into the Resort....make sure to go to the left (EAST SIDE OF THE ISLAND) on the beach side underneath the building where there is a parking lot that you can park in. From there you can walk across the two Bridges to get to the beach. The building should be on your left hand side, which is this side of the beach, and you do not require a pass because I've already talked to the resort management. Make sure do not go into the resort.

Look forward to hopefully seeing you at 1 p.m. (DO NOT GO INTO THE RESORT ON THE RIGHT)

Hope to see you there,

James
