FREE Workshop - 👩🏻‍🍳Do You Know How to Prepare an Esqueixada?

Barcelona International Community Day is the great annual gathering for the city's international talent ecosystem. It is a day filled with activities, workshops, and conferences, including a fair featuring businesses, organisations, and associations that offer services, products, and initiatives for the international community.

Courtesy of Barcelona Council, this workshop 👩🏻‍🍳 takes place from 10:30 to 11:30, an "esmorzar de forquilla"-style breakfast in a cooking workshop format to prepare a puff pastry coca with cod 🐟🫒esqueixada, a traditional Catalan recipe. In this workshop, they'll teach how to crumble the cod and prepare the vegetables🍅 for the puff pastry coca. They'll also explain the origins of this dish, so deeply rooted in Catalan cuisine, its importance in the culinary culture, and the importance of local cuisine and the seasonality of ingredients for following a healthy and sustainable diet, such as the Mediterranean diet.
