Let's leave Prague for a day!
Dear members of the group,
As someone told long time ago - the more the merrier :)
So, let's have our second in person activity for this month!
This time we will visit a town not far away from Prague.
Kutná Hora is a city east of Prague in the Czech Republic. It’s known for the Gothic St. Barbara's Church with medieval frescoes and flying buttresses. Also notable is Sedlec Ossuary, a chapel adorned with human skeletons.
We will travel by train. The train leaves at 12:04 from Prague main train station. The trip is direct, it takes 52 minutes and the price of the ticket is 90 CZK. You do not need to buy a ticket in advance, I can buy a group ticket using the official app.
Please come no later than 11:40 in front of the Burger King restaurant. It is located inside of the train station, just take the escalator and you will see it. You can call me on my mobile phone. Then we will see from which platform the train will leave and board it.
While in Kutna Hora, we can visit the Ossuary, Cathedral and the Church. More info on the web site Protected content .
We will have some time to go around the city, have something to drink or eat. There are many trains running, we will decide which one to take on the way back.
Have a nice day and see you soon!
