Fate stepped in a week ago when a restaurant I was heading to with a group of friends was full which lead us to a serendipitous discovery of a new Thai restaurant barely 2 weeks old. After a value packed scrumptious meal delivered with the panache of a well established venue I sort out the staff to find out more. I found a real Thai Chef in charge of the kitchen while the front of house was run by the half Thai owner, Marcia.
Marcia had recently moved to Penang from KL where she owned and ran a successful Thai restaurant thus explaining the gravitas of this new venture. One thing led to another and Marcia extended an invitation to the Penang Food Group for a Thai dinner event on Wednesday 27th @ 7pm
The Menu:
Pad Thai Chicken or
Vegetarian Pad Thai (Both non spicy)
Green Cury Chicken (Light spicy) or
Basil Chicken(Light spicy) or
Vegetarian Red Curry(Light spicy)
TomYum noddles with Pork or
TomYum Noddles with Tofu.
Mango Sticky Rice or
Red Ruby
All main course will be served with rice and extra chilli will be available for those that like to partake.
Corkage for wine has been waved. Beer, including Thai beer is available at probably the best price in all of Penang.
The cost for this fine repast is a budget friendly RM35, payable on the night direct to the restaurant.
Seating is limited, so book early and if you do need to cancel, please let me know ASAP so I can offer your seats to those on the wait list.
