Maruja Mallo, Feminine Surrealism
We are going to the Reina Sofía Museum to see Maruja Mallo, an artist who, for the first time, presented a feminine worldview from an also unprecedented perspective, that of the modern, active, free and professional woman.
Mallo was a visionary artist who managed to reflect the concerns of her time and anticipate many of those of today. The universality of human aspirations, beyond economic, racial or gender differences, the consideration of the world as an interrelated ecological system and the power of art to reveal unknown aspects of reality are fundamental axes of his work.

Afterward, we'll go to a nearby bar for drinks, tapas, and to discuss our experiences with the tertulia and socialize.
