Hello Changemakers!!!

Hope you are doing well!! Our campaign of this month was great and we were able to help many women victims of domestic violence. Our team of ''angels'' has been just wonderful with their support. We also want to thank Casa Lar Abrigo da Mulher and the PMERJ for organizing the distribution of these baskets.
We would like to invite you all to join us on Friday, September 4th at 12pm to discuss about new initiatives for September when we will specially support two projects that focus on the homeless population, which has grown substantially with the pandemic.

JUCA Social Project: Founded by Vania Rosa, who was a homeless for many years, the JUCA project does a wonderful social work with this community through mosaic workshops. Besides that, they also provide them with food, blankets, food baskets, personal hygiene items and social assistance. For further information about this project, please check their page in Instagram @projeto_juca.

Luiz Social Project: Luiz had a social library at Praça Serzedelo Correia in Copacabana, but the pandemic made him see the urgent need of meals to feed the homeless community. Since then, he has cooked and distributed food and soup on the streets of Copacabana and Ipanema with the help of our friends Leda and Niina, and with the support of many of us. In other to maintain his project, Luiz needs our help with the donation of food.
