[In Person] Let's visit Pop-up photo exhibition "Balkans Today"
How much do we know about everyday life in the neighboring Balkan countries? What do we have in common? What makes us stand apart? What unites us? What can we accomplish together?
26 photographers from 12 countries participate in this exhibition. Their photographic series are distributed across the streets of Protected content according to the following themes: our relationship with the rest of the Balkans (points 1,12), the younger generation’s perspective and its dilemma facing immigration (points 5,6,7), the recent past (points 8,9,10), the painful recollection of the war (points 3,4) and the fluidity and the fragility of the present state of things (points 2, Protected content .
Taking the lack of funds in the cultural life of the Balkans as a given, but eager to stand on our own feet and willing to keep exploring all the factors that shape our daily life, we invite you to visit this exhibition, to wander about the neighborhood of Protected content and to get reacquainted with our city and its inhabitants.
