"Tosca" With Aleksandra Kurzak and Robert Alagna Wrocław Opera
Two international stars - soprano Aleksandra Kurzak and tenor Roberto Alagna - appeared in May and June this year at the Wrocław Opera in only two performances of Puccini's "Tosca". Tickets for this event sold out in one day. The performance, received with enthusiasm by the audience gathered in the theater, was recorded for rebroadcast to cinemas.
Aleksandra Kurzak began her singing career 25 years ago at the Wrocław Opera. Today he performs at The Metropolitan Opera in New York, Opéra national de Paris, Wiener Staatsoper, La Scala in Milan and Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona. In Protected content , she sang Adina in Donizetti's "Les d'Amore" at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London. Nemorino in this performance was played by Roberto Alagna, an internationally renowned French tenor of Italian descent. The couple fell in love and got married three years later
