Forgotten Female Artists of the Renaissance
More than Protected content ago, the Italian painters Sofonisba Anguissola, Lavinia Fontana and Artemisia Gentileschi were popular artists and their contemporaries marvelled at the talents of these remarkable women. But they were then forgotten, and written out of the history books.
We are going to watch a documentary (duration 53 minutes) about those talented but forgotten female artists, and then we can do a discussion about it.
