Exhibition - Platon People Power
Renowned portrait photographer Platon presents an unflinching exploration of power through intimate portraits of global leaders, activists, and cultural icons.
Spanning decades of work - which has been featured in The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, and TIME Protected content - the exhibition showcases his distinctive approach: Approaching all subjects with radical honesty to question rather than to glorify power.
Subjects range from autocrats like Putin and Trump to activists including Pussy Riot, and artists such as Prince and Adele.
Complementing his iconic political portraits, the series "The Defenders" features everyday human rights activists from conflict zones worldwide, asserting that dignity and inner strength transcend political office.
Platon's photographs—taken across the Protected content and Protected content compelling contemporary relevance to questions of courage, responsibility, and what true power means.
Join me on this little exploration of portraits many of which have become part of pop culture and are recognized for their unique angle of view - and some of them even have gained cult status.
Parking in the area is a challenge - best use public transport - tram stop is only a minute away.
