Chega Junto + Junta Local
Chega Junto is back this coming Saturday along with the local producers of Junta Local!
Chega Junto is a social inclusion project that seeks to bring together migrants and refugees from all around the world who produce authentic cuisine from their countries of origin at a variety of street markets and events, celebrating integration, cultural diversity and exchange.
This time the families of refugees will serve typical recipes from Haiti - Bob; Colômbia - Nelly; Síria - Rami; Caribe - Marinel & Camilo; Nigéria - Lateefat; Togo - Louise; Venezuela - Maria Gabriela; Líbano - Maria El Warrak e José El Warrak; Congo/Angola - Landoo Colette; Síria - Mouhannad; Peru - Sandra; Venezuela - Dionel.
And at 3:00 p.m., there will also be show by the band Luma Maj Kumpania, with a lot of gypsy jazz e balkan music.
