Special Small Opening
Immersed in the scenario of the Serra da Tiririca, Escuso is a tiny independent restaurant with focus in contemporary cuisine.
Leonardo Guida and Guilherme Bastos, owners and chefs of the restaurant, were born and grew up in Niterói, and spent many years abroad in order to perfect their great culinary skills.
Sustainability, exclusive use of fresh, seasonal and local ingredients (preferably from the kitchen garden) and use of open fire (eletric or gas equipment are no admitted) are the pillars of the restaurant's philosophy. Fusion cuisine, craft beverages and a wine list consisting of labels produced by small Brazilian producers complete the picture leading to an unforgivable experience.
