Night cycling to the hill (level of difficulty: Intermediate)
If you have experience in cycling and/or hiking, this is for you! This is not mountain-biking, rather it is cycling on tar roads uphill and downhill. Quite a workout but the team of my local friends are patient to accompany slow cyclists up to the hill. We enjoy the leisure, workout and the scenery. After cycling about 1 hour plus break at the top of hill (my average speed on flat road is 12kph), we will have supper or late dinner nearby.
If you do not have a bicycle, you can rent oBike available at LRT station. You may need more energy to cycle uphill as oBike is a fixie kind; either way you may push it up.
Speed: 10 to 18 km per hour
What to bring:
1) Bottled water or sports drinks,
2) bicycle front and back lamps (oBike do not have them, so you need to purchase them for safety),
3) covered shoes,
4) cycling attire,
7) bicycle helmet (also for your safety)
NOTE: The organisers and Internations are not responsible for any accidents or mishaps as a result of the activity. Please ensure that you fully understood the requirements and descriptions stated here prior to the activity.
You are advised to send me Whatsapp message in advance before the DAY of activity to make the necessary preparations smoothly. This is not a tourist leisure trip, hence please enquire if in doubt.
