Visiting Besigheim's rock gardens
Hello Outdoor Fans
Let's visit the rock gardens.
Medieval flair in the 2-river-station of Besigheim, extensive vineyards, great views and a bizarre rocky landscape - all this offers this entertaining round trip.
I haven’t been there before, so please don’t expect me to be your tour guide. We’ll have to navigate together! Starting from Besigheim, we hike on the Württemberg wine trail to a small trail through the Besigheim and Hessigheim rock gardens.
Difficulty: Protected content (Participation is at your own risk)
Distance : Protected content km
Duration: Protected content (plus breaks, so the end time may vary.)
Ascent: Protected content 324 m
Descent: Protected content (what we go up we must go down 😊
Attire: Protected content shoes, clothes, and rain protection!
Food / drinks: Bring plenty water and enough food!
The steep rise behind Hessigheim requires particularly grip soles and is better to cope upwards than downwards. After heavy rainfall this part could be extremely slippery and impassable
Please organize carpooling or public transport on your own. I can take three people with me, either from U-Bahn station Löwenmarkt or S-Bahn station Feuerbach.
This hike might be postponed depending on the weather conditions.
Looking forward to visiting the rock gardens with you!
