Chilled out evening at Abyssinia - Ethiopian restaurant
Protected content is at Ashley Road, near St. James' hospital. It's a small Protected content with a typically Ethiopian setting and music. The staple of the Ethiopian kitchen is Injera - yeasted out sour dough pancakes made from tefl flour. The meals are put on top of these - vegetarian and meat options - like Shiro Wot made from chick peas, or mashed lentils.
Hearty, zesty mushes, all prepared with sweet Ethiopian spices! You are supposed to eat them with your hands. Some friends introduced me to this cuisine, and it has become my favourite ever since.
This event will be cross-posted over several groups. Please prepare for some of the best food ever!
