The most extraordinary Sunday outdoor ever!
The most incredible wooden walkways of Portugal!
The walkways are located on the left bank of the Paiva River, in Arouca municipality, Aveiro, Portugal. For 8 km we will experience an "untouched" walk, surrounded by landscapes of unique beauty, in an authentic natural sanctuary of wild river waters, quartz crystals and endangered species. The route extends from the river beaches of Areinho to Espiunca, lying between them, the Vau beach. A journey through biology, geology and archeology that will remain, of course, in heart, soul and in mind of any nature lover.
This is the adventure so many members have asked for!
So let's go and enjoy nature.
If you do not have a car, please post a message requesting a ride from fellow members.
A last but not the least, at Areinho, we will do a pic-nic lunch, sharing eachone's specialities. So don't forget to bring your part, being chicken pies, pizza, hotdogs, salad, fruit or drinks.
