Coffee Cantata by Bach - With Coffee and Cake
Dear Lovers of Classical Music,
As part of the Bach Festival Protected content Coffee Cantata by Bach is performed at Protected content
It is directed by Dominik Wilgenbus, who usually is very entertaining in his moderation. He has given the Coffee Cantata "Schweigt stille, plaudert nicht" (Keep quiet, don't talk) by Johann Sebastian Bach a bit of lift up.
The program begins with Bach's cantata featuring Anna-Magdalena Perwein (soprano), Luca Gotti (tenor), and Torsten Frisch (baritone) accompanied by Stellario Fagone (piano), Anton Roters (violin), and Thomas Wollenweber (cello).
During the intermission, as in the days of Johann Sebastian Bach, there will be coffee and homemade cakes served.
In the second half humorous chansons, songs, and pop songs centered around coffee will be performed.
