On Friday nights, the Phila Art Museum transforms into one big party. Haven't you always dreamed of having fun with art?
Let's check out the Final Friday of July at the Art Museum.
There will be live music AND cocktails and tapas-style dishes. You can also check out the galleries and attend an unconventional tour of the African part of the collection.

Music: Curated Sounds by Shara Nova

Enjoy a soundtrack crafted by the art-pop songstress behind My Brightest Diamond for the lead-up to her performance.

DIY Art: Dabble in Design
5:00–7:30 p.m.

Create a colorful textile inspired by the work of June Groff.

Meet in McCausland Gallery 116, 1st floor.
In an unconventional gallery tour, this storyteller makes magic, drawing inspiration from African and African American culture and folklore to weave tales influenced by works in our American art galleries.

In-Gallery Healing: The Rituals of Sacred Sound & Story

Join Daniel and Rachel Cordua, owners of South Philly’s Palo Santo Wellness Boutique, as they connect the stories of gods and goddesses from India with the magic of sacred sound through Tibetan singing bowls and the chanting of Sanskrit verses. Bring a pillow and/or yoga mat to sit or lie down upon. First come, first served.
