THE SAM SAM III NEIGHBORHOOD AND THE Kalasan SCHOOL
Sam Sam III is a neighborhood of Pikine, at the outskirts of Dakar. It is estimated that 12,500 people live therein, although it is difficult to calculate, since the population does not stop growing. It is a neighborhood called, in urban planning terms, spontaneous and without a management plan. Due to this type of construction, many of the streets are narrow, hindering or paralyzing the circulation of public transport, which excludes even more population.
