The Christmas Season is at our door steps again. Yeahhhhh!
Do you wanna try something different; like the French Christmas beer or tasty french cuisines/pastries or wine or cheese?
How about in addition, a casual stroll around a beautiful little town?
Then join us and let's visit the beautiful little French border town of Wissembourg for its renowned Christmas Market.
Wissembourg is located on the German border of France in the Alsace region of Grand Est and to the north of Strasbourg. And it is entirely free to get there with the deutschebahn if you own a job ticket (if you do not have one, it is possible to join others for free on theirs).

If you are coming by car from around Karlsruhe, it is only Protected content west of Karlsruhe. And meet us in front of the Protected content
Starting from the Wissembourg train station by 12:30 pm we stroll through the city to important sights such as the Maison du Sel, the Quai Angselmann, the Stanislaus Palace, the Augustines Convent, the Grange aux Dimes (with 13th century origins), the Maison de Chevaliers and the ornate carvings of the Maison de l'Ami Fritz.
We will finally end up at the 13th century Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul around which the Christmas Market takes place.
