Join us for another kayaking tour on Tampa Bay
Join us for another kayaking tour exploring Weedon Island Preserve. We did this some months ago and not everybody who wanted to go was able to join us, so here we go again.
Weedon Island Preserve is an expansive 3,190-acre natural area located on Tampa Bay. This coastal system is home to numerous species of native plants and animals, an educational facility, and a rich cultural history. The preserve protects a wide diversity of natural and cultural resources for current and future generations. Weedon Island Preserve is also a well-known birding and fishing site.
This is a self-guided kayak tour. You will be on the water for at least three hours. Please dress accordingly, bring sunscreen and water. While we try to stay together, you will be required to paddle your kayak and even carry it for a couple of yards. They have single and double kayaks. Please be sure to check out their website for additional information.
