Weekly Meal Delivery to a Homeless Shelter for Families
The gist - cook or buy ready made food for families experiencing homelessness. Kids that need volunteer hours for school can earn 3 hours per 20 breakfast bags or other signs ups that require cooking.
Family Gateway needs help feeding families in their emergency shelter. While we are not able to cook inside the shelter, we can cook at home and drop off food. Below you will find a list of menu items needed. Each sign up varies. Please see if the sign up is for 1 or 5 or 10. You can sign up for 1 slot of multiple slots for item or different items. The food can be delivered in the foil pans or store packaging or to go container to the shelter on Sunday- 16: Protected content pm.
Menu:
Breakfast: cereal, muffin, Fruit, Juice
Dinner: Meatloaf, potatoes, veggies, garlic bread
