Time Travel on Whit Monday
Are you going to stay in Budapest at Pentecost? If you join us, you won't. :) We are not only leaving Budapest but also the 21st century.
The village museum (Skanzen) in Szentendre offers a day to see and live people's lives in different parts of the Hungarian countryside in the earlier centuries and we can also participate in their celebrations of Pentecost. Hospitality with food and drinks is guaranteed.
To visit and enjoy as many regions as possible, an authentic train will carry us to the different venues within the Skanzen.
To avoid standing in a long queue at the entrance, I'd like to ask you to buy your entrance ticket online. Choose the price which applies to you Protected content
Unfortunately, the website in English is not updated either. So please take note that the train ticket is 600HUF (it's for the whole day) and the museum is open till 18:00 at Pentecost.
There are different ways to get to the museum but the most convenient one would be by car. So could you also write in a comment if you are planning to drive to Szentendre? Thank you in advance.
