Rice Harvesting for Sharing
I would like to invite you to join our community rice harvesting on Dec 5th. It has been decades that rice farming in Nong Chok area uses chemical in the process. With the cooperation from the members of Khlong Sip Community (Nong Chok District) this year, we started from a small area to grow rice without using any chemical. The small steps of the change could lead to our future clean food.
On Dec 5th, the members of the community are going to have rice harvesting in the conservative way as you see in the cover photo.
Our goal for the changemaker team is to harvest 20 kg of the rice that will be donated for the kids at Daung Prateep Foundation.
Meeting point is exit no.1 Airport Link Ladkrabang at 7 am. The transportation from the station to the rice field will be provided.
Come and join us to support our first step for the change and enjoy rice field scenery that you would not believe that it is still in Bangkok area.
Please bring your hats and wear long sleeve shirt if you are sensitive to the sunburn. And some clothes for changing after the harvesting. Full cover shoes are recommended.
If you have any questions or need any further information, please feel free to contact me.
Together we can make a different
See you there
