We (Andra & myself) will take you on a totally different movie genre this time, one that deals with racial segregation, racism & injustice in the poignant movie "Just Mercy" with the legendary Jamie Foxx& Michael B Jordan as main protagonists.
*About the movie:
Just Mercy is a Protected content biographical legal drama film co-written and directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, and starring Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Foxx, Rob Morgan, Tim Blake Nelson, Rafe Spall, and Brie Larson. It tells the true story of Walter McMillian, who, with the help of young defense attorney Bryan Stevenson, appeals his murder conviction. The film is based on the memoir of the same name, written by Stevenson. Just Mercy had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6, Protected content , and was theatrically released by Warner Bros. Pictures on December 25, Protected content . The film received positive reviews from critics and grossed $50.4 million. Foxx received a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role at the 26th Screen Actors Guild Awards.
