Nigel Kennedy gave his first classic concert in France in Protected content . The stunning impact of its television broadcast made the CD a best-seller in France. And while Kennedy was No. 1 and No. 2 on the charts, he returned to enjoy his French triumph one summer night in Protected content this concert. The performance took place on the impressive medieval Acropolis of Carcassonne in southern France. The Polish Chamber Orchestra participates, Nigel plays the Four Seasons and in a duet with the Orchestra's leader, Jakub Haufa, Vivaldi Concerto for 2 violins in a major do. The program also includes two very different anchors, a version of Jimi Hendrix's "Purple Haze" and a traditional Celtic piece.
