Tate Britain's Great Art Walks - Edwin Landseer

Gus Casely-Hayford and live stream legend Jeremy Paxman wander the wild Cairngorms Mountains of Scotland and discover the landscapes that inspired Victorian artist Edwin Landseer. Together they sketch the fascinating, albeit tortured, portrait of Landseer, whose life began with ambition and ended in madness. With his passion for the Victorian era, Jeremy gives us the context in which the artist painted. Gus and Jeremy will travel to some of the most remote parts of the UK, from the Balmoral estate to the rugged landscape of Lake Avon.
