Mt. Kilimambogo also known as Oldonyo Sabuk is situated about 70km north-east of Nairobi, and about 25km east of Thika town. It is a National Park under the jurisdiction of Kenya Wildlife Services (KWS) that covers an area of about 20 square kilometres, with most of its surface covered by a natural forest . Standing at Protected content above sea level at its highest, it offers panoramic views of the surrounding plains and the distant Nairobi to the south, Masinga Dam and Mt Kenya to the north, and Mt Kilimanjaro to the west.

For hiking enthusiasts, this is ideal for a day hike. The 21km hike to the top and back takes around Protected content depending on your level of fitness. i.e to and from is around Protected content

6. ID (for citizens and residents) non residents
7. Camera
