Toasting 2019 Away: Wine & Dine at the Market
Dear wine lovers,
Protected content quite a ride and I am glad you were part of it! Our tastings created fun moments that brought people together. It was great to have those who have been attending for quite a long time and also to welcome new members.
For our last get together the proposal is to have a very relaxed evening. We are meeting at Belgrano Market for some wine and dinner. For those who do not know it, this market is full of history. It dates back Protected content Rafael Hernandez, writer and journalist, donated the area in which the market was built. Recently the market has been renewed, following the trend of gourmet markets. It is a fun place to discover, to shop for groceries and also have a nice meal. Besides, the market’s historic stores really went through a battle to see the place remodeled. It is always nice to support local producers and small business.
So here is the plan: let’s meet, choose food and do our own wine pairing. In the market we will find Japanese food at Tienda Ohno, delicious baos/curries/dumplings at Kho, Italian products at Cucina Paradiso, cheese&charcuterie at Valenti and more!
Winemakers is the market’s wine store & bar. It has a great selection of boutique wineries and charcuterie plates.
Pick up your glasses and go! Which wine will be the perfect match for your curry? Or sushi? Let’s test our knowledge and ability to pair. December’s event is about fun, sharing and tasting the year away among friends.
